Two ways we help at home

Choose the visit you need. Every visit is at least 2 hours, and you are billed every 2 weeks after your visits.

Companionship

$32.50 per hour

Housekeeping

  • Cleaning and mopping
  • Dusting and floors
  • General home upkeep

Non-medical help only. Our Buddies do not give personal care, help with medication or provide health care. You can pay by card online or over the phone.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you need

    Call us or use the website. A son or daughter can book for a parent.

  2. We match you with a Buddy

    We choose an available, police-checked Buddy and text you to confirm. You get a reminder a day before and an hour before.

  3. Enjoy your visit

    Your Buddy arrives at the door. Afterward we record the hours and bill you every 2 weeks.

Questions

Is this medical or personal care?

No. DoorstepBuddy provides non-medical company and housekeeping only. Buddies do not give medication, help with bathing or toileting, or provide health care.

How much does it cost?

Companionship is $32.50 per hour and housekeeping is $35.00 per hour. Each visit is at least 2 hours.

How do I pay?

We bill every 2 weeks after your visits. You can pay by card online or over the phone.

Who are the Buddies?

Local people who have passed ID, police and reference checks. We aim to send the same Buddy each time.

Can my son or daughter book for me?

Yes. Family members can book and pay for visits for a parent.

Where and when are you opening?

We are opening in Regina, Saskatchewan in January 2027, with plans to grow across Saskatchewan.
